I usually go for 3 inch running shorts, but I took a chance on these because the patterns are so fun. These are so soft and cut well, I don't think about them at all while running. I am 5 ft 4, 125 lbs with a 27 in waist, athletic build, and Medium fits just right without being fitted/tight. They sit on my hips without stretching but are tight enough to not slide down at all which is perfect for me! (If you prefer a more fitted feel, I'd get small) I have been running in a few pairs of these for 2 weeks and still love them, 10/10 so comfortable and I have gotten used to how short they are without any issue. LOVE so much I got the peppers and the dino nuggies lol will def pick up more patterns.
