The Role
- Edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for social platforms (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos)
- Transform raw footage into dynamic, engaging, and brand-aligned videos
- Incorporate music, sound effects, motion graphics, and text overlays to enhance storytelling
- Stay on top of social media trends and proactively suggest content ideas and editing styles
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Optimize videos for performance (retention, engagement, and shareability)
Ideal qualifications
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar)
- Strong understanding of pacing, comedic timing, and viral content structure
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Ability to adapt editing style to match evolving trends and brand voice
- Experience in social media or DTC brands
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
- Motion graphics and animation experience
- Color grading and sound design skills
- Experience working with influencers or user-generated content
- Familiarity with analytics and performance metrics
- Passion for running
