📏 How to Measure Yourself
Measure Your Waist: Wrap a tape around your natural waistline (just above your belly button, where your body bends side to side). Keep the tape snug but not tight. Round up to the nearest inch.
Measure Your Inseam: Measure from the top of your inner thigh (crotch seam) down to the spot on your leg where you want the shorts to end.
1.5–3" = Short/athletic fit | 4–6" = Mid-length | 7–10" = Longer fit
Measure Your Bra Size: Use an unlined, non-padded bra.
Bust: Place the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it straight across your back.
Underbust (Band): Wrap the tape around your ribcage, just under your bust.

ET Well, I am a middle-aged woman who ordered men's shorts because I wanted more coverage. I have tried this in the past with full-length tights and baggy shorts (other brands) and it worked for me.
These shorts have a slightly lower rise than I was expecting (I could work with it, though). The part I am still wondering about is the built-in liner. I suppose I didn't read the description well enough, but I was not expecting a liner. I am tempted to cut it out; however, the crotch seams seem very prominent. The crotch, to be fair, is much 'lower' than the liner, so I think it would be fine. I am mulling it all over.
The print is, of course, very lively and fun. There are phone pockets on each leg and an additional key pocket in the liner. I will at least use them to walk the dog and such. May end up using them for running after I figure out the underwear situation.
