The role

You'll work closely with our founder to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations. This role is pivotal as we scale up, and you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success!

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and financial records
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms
• Record and monitor e-commerce sales and revenue recognition
• Track inventory costs, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margins
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
• Support tax preparation, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
• Handle private and confidential information with professionalism

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software, ideally QuickBooks 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in e-commerce, apparel, or consumer goods companies a plus
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
• Experience with inventory accounting and multi-channel sales
• CPA or CPA-track a plus
