I bought these shorts for my 11 year old daughter who was running in a cross country championship for her middle school. She had never worn this brand before but it was recommended that her teammates match wearing the same school jersey and same chicken leg shorts which happened to be the pink bananas. Team looked great with all 10 girls wearing the same uniform. When she first put them on, she said that it felt freeing and non-constrictive and that she felt like she could move a little bit easier . And she said it was also nice to have everything covered because one thing she is, is modest and she doesn't like or think it's appropriate for women's butts to hang out of their shorts but these provide good coverage especially for children. She's very excited to see what other patterns you come out with because she would like to get a couple of more pairs.

I was a little skeptical at first when he shorts didn't have strings in the waistband, but they are extremely comfortable and do not ride up at all.
