As a 5’6”, 185 lb member of the “short and thick thigh runner” club, I’ve learned most running shorts are not built with us in mind. But—if you size up—these absolutely get the job done.

I’m usually between a medium and large, went with a large, and the fit is perfect. No squeezing, no restriction, and finally enough room where it actually matters.

Took them out for a run today and felt great the whole time—light, comfortable, and zero issues. Also… these definitely lean into showing off the quads, which I’m not mad about.

If you’ve got thicker legs and are on the fence between sizes, do yourself a favor and size up. You’ll be glad you did.

I knew that when you came out with a pair of Boston Marathon shorts I’d immediately be purchasing. I decided to also snag a pair of your USA shorts to wear for the Marine Corps Marathon this fall. I love them!
